Studio Retreat
Cherokee National Forest, TN
Though we never seem to have as much time for fun as we would like, we regularly come together as a Studio to enjoy time outside of the office for food and drinks, or to talk about the latest craze in architecture. At the same time we work very diligently to organize office events that help bring us closer together as a team.
If you like beautiful scenery, or the mountains, or being on a lake, or boats, or fishing, or skiing, or just relaxing by the fire, then you would probably fit in just fine at the lake house. Being perched on the side of a small mountain a few hundred feet above the water, getting there can be a bit of a pain. But once you breathe the air and take in the view, you really never want to leave. As the unofficial site for company retreats and getaways, trips to Lake Watauga give us the opportunity to clear our heads and plan for the future…without the daily craziness that is the life of an architect.
