The 2007 Design and Chapter Awards were presented at the Annual Design
Conference for North Carolina. Five Merit Awards and five Honor Awards were given
during the Awards banquet, where Chapter Award winners and Brick Award winners
were also recognized. The Barker residence by Vernacular Studio architects was
recognized for its design solution as one of the five statewide Merit Award
winners for 2007.
