After we have worked diligently to resolve every last detail for our clients, we cringe at the thought of an ill-conceived, plastic, mass produced contraption being inserted into their living space. In this case, the client came to us and said they wanted our  help to avoid such a situation with regard to installing gates for their baby.  In response we came up with a fairly economical and straightforward solution that we designed using plywood and a few custom made steel connections.

Fabricated by an extremely talented and thorough local craftsman, Evan Lightner, the gates seamlessly integrate into the context we had previously designed.
