Last weekend, The Bridge House was featured as the News and Observer’s Home of the Month. Each month, the News and Observer features one home on the last Saturday of the month. Design professionals visit the home, speak with the owners and the Architects and contribute an essay and photo gallery for the series. Architect and NC State School of Architecture Professor Wendy Redfield wrote an article for the ongoing Home of the Month series. To describe the house, Redfield states, "rooms and spaces are generous in size, but it is the attention to detail, modulated light, careful combination of materials and responsiveness to the clients' needs that make this house so successful." The homeowners consider the house a success because, "It feels like home."
