Project Designer
As a native of Raleigh, Rob knows a little bit (or a lot) about most everything
local. He also knows almost everyone in Raleigh and can give a personal antidote
about anyone you meet. But Rob’s pursuit for knowledge goes well beyond Raleigh,
he has traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe, judging as he goes. As
a project designer, Rob’s extreme attention to detail and superb ability to focus
is a definite asset to Vernacular Studio. Rob received his Bachelor of
Architecture from North Carolina State University’s School of Design where he was
the recipient of the Lee Endowed Honor Scholarship, and was inducted into the Tau
Sigma Delta Honor Society. Before joining Vernacular Studio, Rob was a designer
with Cannon Architects; and an architectural intern with Gomes & Staub, PLLC. In
addition Rob has been an instructor at North Carolina State University’s Design
Camp; and has exhibited in collaborative artist installations nationally. Some
of Rob’s personal favorites include small silky dogs that are potty trained, all
things music (no, not musicals), and Ikea customer service.
