Brett received his Bachelor of Architecture from North Carolina State
University’s School of Design where he was the recipient of the Faculty Design
Award and the Deitrick Award. Prior to founding Vernacular Studio, Brett was a
project architect at the Freelon Group in Durham, NC. Brett’s project experience
includes museums, office buildings, interior upfits and extensive space planning
and programming studies. Brett serves as an adjunct faculty member at North
Carolina State University’s School of Architecture.
